The
years between 1960 and 1970 has been
characterised in particular for a year: the ’68. In this period the
student movement was born and workers organised their movements in order
to refuse the capitalist organisation. Students protested against the
authoritarianism of the university institution and the anachronistic
nature of the knowledge and the submission to the interests of the great
private companies. The movement was announced with the accupation of
some universities of some cities (Milan, Turin, Pisa, Trento and Rome).
Students movement and labourer movement tried to get more social rights
and equality for all people.Fashion begins to diffuse, because many
factories were born to produce ready dresses. Stores born where it was
easy to find the last models. Mary Quant created the miniskirt. Unisex
fashion was born. The blue jeans began a symbol, also of parity between
the sexes. Together with the bikini become the symbol of this
generation. Of large vogue was eschimo, coat of military cut. Favourite
shoes were the type Clark. Young men prefer make themselves to grow
beard and moustaches. Boys and girl had long hair.About
food, people begun to endure the American influence in the alimentary
habits.
